...from the Pumpkin King himself...
Bonjour everyone! How are you? I have not written in this for so many days. I have been so busy lately, so please, forgive my bout of laziness. In other news, I have been corresponding with the Pumpkin King himself. Amazing fellow really. He composed a marvelous poem of some sort for me, and I would be much obliged to share his marvelous words with all of you.
Angel of Darkness - by The Pumpkin King
She was my angel of darkness
A clarion call,
and my salvation
She was my lover,
my friend,
And my executioner,
And she was the night.
We spent an eternity
drinking in one another's thoughts
Like crimson red blood
She, the weeping Modonna
And I, the Lord of Death.
She was the pollution of all my vague, black dreams
She was there
Like a raging torrent of melody
Delving deeper into my sanity
Now she has come,
My dark angel of the night
My succubus of passion
My victim of desire,
and the savior of my soul
Alas for my Angel of Darkness.
Amazing, isn't it? Jack always did have an amazing way with words. I shall enheavor him to write some more for all of you.
Au Revour,
Theresa

Bonjour everyone!
How are you on such a beautiful afternoon? I am extremely happy today. I have heard from my father's weather advisor that it will snow. I do hope that it will, it has been such a long time since I had gone horse-back riding in the snowfall. -sigh- I believe I was sick the last time it snowed. -smiles brightly- But onto more news! C'est excellant nouvelles! My father has caught my tutor in the most compromising position with the kitchen maid and has finally sent him packing! I am extremely happy right now. -dances around the room-
My mother said that I won't have a tutor anymore. My father is going to write to my distant cousin, Sir Kenneth, and ask him to teach me the things I need to know. I can't wait! I met him during my 12th birthday. He was so kind. My father told me he was 16 years old back then, that makes him four years my senior, but I got along with him so well.
My mother just gave me an invitation to my cousin's, Lady Jacquline, grandmother's death anniversity gathering. I have decided to wear my black gown Kenneth gave to me for my 14th birthday. It is the most lovely gown that I have ever seen. Kenneth is such a sweet-heart. I do hope that Lady Olivia and Lady Christina come to the gathering. It is such a bore to make idle chit-chat with people you don't know. I despise having them talk about me when I am in hearing distance. Mon dieu! Humans have no tact what-so-ever! -growls-
-breathes deeply- On a lighter note, I have heard that Lady Quyen, Jacquline's older sister, is getting married to some distant Lord. I have heard that he is very wealthy. Gossip has it that they look are in love with eachother. -sigh- Jacquline says that he is awfully quiet though, he is such an opposite of my dear cousin. But I guess that it's meant to be. Afterall, opposites do attract eachother...to some point. -laughs-
Until then, I'm hoping to enjoy my time at the gathering. The invitation said at 7:oo in the evening, God help me...I'm not sure my good nature will keep up the polite conversations with my uncle's friends. -rubs temples- I already feel the beginning of a head cold. Maybe some rosemary and tea will help. I do hope it does, afterall, I do not want to go to the gathering in bad temperment. I do hope i don't end up snapping at anyone. Some people are such delicate little things. -comtemplates possibilty of causing an uproar-
Jusqu' à la prochaine fois,
Theresa

Accueil! Welcome!
Mon nom est Theresa De Rêves! -clears throat- Sorry about that, i forgot that some do not know my native tongue. French, if you cared to notice. Anyway, my name is Theresa De Rêves, please, just call me Theresa. I am borne from Baron Colton Cauchemars Diaboliques. Well, not exactly born...you see, I was sent to this world as an infant to live with half-demons, Lord and Lady De Rêves of the northern French lands, off the coast of the island Paris.
Yes, as shocking as it is, the origional Paris was -pauses- still is an island. The people of this human world only expanded its size. Barbaric in my opinion. N'est pas? -sigh- On to another subject...i do not wish to bore any of you with the lands of Paris now...do i? no. I did not think so either.
My appearance is, if simply put, aucun de vos affaires. -cough- what i meant was, my appearance is none of your business. I am willing to admit that I am old. -grins- Well, I am old, but no way in Heaven or Hell do i look it. -laughs lightly- My half-blood mix has slowed my aging appearance by what i can only say is by quite a large amount of years. My aging process is so slow...it is close to immortality, if not that. I keep the look of a young maiden. I am also nocturnal. I never sleep, perferring the night to the bright morning, but none-the-less, i do enjoy my time in the sun.
^-^'' -nervous giggle- -curses- Merde! My father always told me my mouth would get me into trouble. As most of you probably fingured out, I live in a Manor. The De Rêves Manor to be precise. During the summer times, my father takes my mother and I to the countryside, where my tutor spends countless hours teaching me useless non-sense. -rolls eyes-
Dieu zut tout! Why my father pays that incompetent man is beyond my comprehension! He teaches my nothing! He only towers above me, looking at my bosom! -growls- pathetic fool!! When my real father hears of this treason...-cough-...i apologize once again for my rambling. I tend to do that when my anger gets away with me. I must hasten this entry up... for--
Oh goodness, I hear my mother calling me. I must be off to another lesson with that bâtard! When will this man die! -sigh- it saddens me to say good-bye, but until the next...
Au revoir,
Theresa
